Things to do in Sóller

Sóller and its surrounding areas are well worth to be seen and experienced. You´ll be attracted by the natural conditions, fantastic views onto the town, the habour or sea as well as the orange and olive groves. You can admire the rich flora of the island in Sóllers Botanical Garden and Natural Sience Museum.

The city center offers, apart from lovely narrow allyways made of typical natural stone, architectural examples of the Art Nouveau, townhouses and mansions as for example Ca´s Magraner in „Calle de la Luna“, the old Bank of Sóller and the church Sant Bartomeu.

Down at the habour, you shouldn´t miss taking a stroll through the old fisherman neighbourhood Sant Catalina or visiting the „Museu de la mar“ showing the seas importance in Sóllers history.

Don´t miss paying a visit to Fornalutx, voted Spains most beautiful village as well as the idyllic Deià, with its lovely Bars and Restaurants.

The botanical Garden

The botanical Garden

Here we can find the majority of the wild flora of the Balearic Islands. The gardens` focus lies on endemic species, as well as endangered and restricted-range species. The plants are arranged in a number of confined areas, according to their natural environment, where each species grows in its typical habitat.

Tren de Sóller

Tren de Sóller

It is not the oldest railway on the island but surely the most nostalgic. It does not have the longest route but certainly the most adventurous one. Surely, the train is not the fastest, but the one with the highest passenger volume per year. We are talking about Sóller´s very own Tren de Sóller,
